Auchung Poker League is the first in Australia to host Show Hand Poker - Five Card Stud as tournament in the Clubs and Pubs.

Show Hand Poker is one of the oldest and most popular poker games in Asia.  It is often featured in Hong Kong movies and TV because

it is familiar to Asian people.  Almost everyone knows and loves the game - particularly people from Hong Kong and the Southern China.

 “The action” is fast and dramatic. Players can win or lose all their chips with a single right or wrong decision.  The game is very involving for both players and spectators.

It’s in English and Cantonese.  Our tournament organizers are fluent in both languages.  This sets us apart from Texas Hold’em tournaments, and makes it attractive to Chinese people who are not comfortable in venues where only English is spoken.

It's the only game in town. Ours is currently the ONLY Show Hand Poker tournament available for clubs and pubs in Australia, and there are lots local people with Asian family backgrounds who are very keen to play this game they know so well.

We also provide free training before each tournament to all the Club members. Anyone who knows Taxas Holdem can learn within 10 minutes.
